Beaches around Korcula town
Explore beaches around the town and nearby islets of Korcula town by foot or by boat. There are many beautiful beaches around town of Korcula. Most known beaches are: City beach and hotel Park's beach, Sveti Nikola, The bay Luka, Banje, Stupe, Planjak and Island of Badija. City Beach and hotel park's beacch is situated around 200 m from the town of Korcula it is a lovely pebble beach very close to Liburna Hotel, Marco Polo Hotel and Park Hotel. In its surroundings it has several bars and cafes. Near the Park Hotel beach you can also rent sailboards and other boats.
Planjak island and beach: 120 m east of Island of Badija there is a beautiful island of Planjak. The island is easily reachable by a rented or private boat. There are many flat areas and stones perfect for sunbathing and you can swim in clear and clean sea. The island of Planjak has pebble beaches.
City beach and nearby beaches of Korcula town
Banje beach Right in the main centre of Korcula, very close to the Hotel Marco Polo there is a lovely town beach called Banje. Close to this beach is also a 'KPK' a local water polo and swimming club. This lovely pebbel beach is very much crowded with tourists and locals in the summertime. Banje beach is also suitable for children, there are also several restaurants and cafes right close to the beach so you wont need to get fully dressed and look for refreshments elsewhere.
City beach and hotel Park's beach: About 200 m away from the town of Korcula you wil find this beautiful pebble beach, the beach is also close to Marco Polo Hotel, Liburna Hotel and Park Hotel. In its area it has several hotels and restaurants. People can rent sailboards or boats in the near by beach of Park Hotel.
The Bay Luka: This is a lovely bay that you can reach in 15 minutes by a relaxing walk from Korcula town, this is a sandy beach. The bay is also reachable by boat from harbor or a car. Its a perfect beach for kids and families so kids can spend a lot of times paddling and playing in shallow water. Drinks and snacks are esily accessible because bars and cafes are very close.

Sveti Nikola bech: There is a small swimming spot in St. Nicholas, the place is called also 'Mandrac' it is located close to the monastery of Saint Nikola, very close to the old town. Tiny parts of pebble beaches are perfect for small children, the rest of the beach has crystal clear water and is pretty much rocky.
Stupe islet and beach: Another small islet close to Korcula island. On the island of Stupe there is a lovely little Tavern that belongs to the local family who serve and cook amazing traditional dishes. A small pebble beach close to the tavern has lot of shade and is suitable also for children.
Island of Badija: Between the city of Lumbarda and Korcula there is located island of Badija. Traveling time to this island from Korcula harbor with a regular boat is 10 minutes. The island is full of cultural and natural beauties. The island can be explored in less then 45 minutes. You can enjoy in rocky and pebble beaches, the island is mostly known for the church of our Virgin of Mercy and the Franciscan monastery from the 14th century. You can find refreshments in the local cafe and Tavern.
