Abaco sailing vacation - Bahamas

Abaco island is no doubt on the list of earth's most excellent sailing and fishing grounds. Steps away from the guest rooms and the docks Marsh Harbour, the beach at Abaco Beach Resort is a great praise to a lazy one day in the bed beneath one of the numerous palm trees that dot the beautiful 52-acre campus. Abaco Inn coast located on Elbow Cay, is just a quick walk away from Hope Town, a colorful settlement best known for the famous candy striped lighthouse that bears its name. The shore and the Atlantic Ocean are just steps from your hotel resort pool.

A lot of boaters embark to Abaco just because, for those who live north of Ft. Lauderdale, it's the nearby island destination. Certainly, the entrance to Old Bahama Bay at West End is merely about 56 nm from Lake Worth Inlet in Palm Beach. Marsh Harbour is generally closer to boat folks north of Cape Canaveral than the Florida Keys.
