Horses in Camargue park - FranceCamargue horses live just like Camargue bulls in semi liberty. Camargue breed is pretty much similar to the prehistoric horses and it is known as one of the oldest breeds in the world. When horses are born, their color is black or dark brown, when they turn 4 years old they turn white. Both Camargue horses and Camargue bulls are much smaller then other breeds of bulls and horses. Horses are never stabled but they survive pretty well summer humidity, heat and cold winters. When horses are around fourteen, thirteen hands they look like little ponies. Camargue bulls are raised for their special meat that has good reputation among people. Their meat is served in local restaurants in great stews and other dishes.
