Alghero citadel

The stone bastions of Alghero town stretch out into the sea. They protect Alghero, from ancient time. Today is Alghero a prime tourist destination which is well served by its international Airport Fertilia. There in the town is also a nearby harbor Porto Torres for ferries from mainland Italy and France.

The coast of Alghero region is named “Riviera del Corallo” (Coral Riviera), and stretch around 75 km from the beach of Poglina to the cape Capo Caccia.
