Walking in Castelsardo paved streets

Small town Castelsardo is a beautiful medieval town with a castle built on the rock above the sea, there is also a museum of local crafts and near the castle is Cathedral of St. Antonio Abate, which gives the castle its special character.

In summer time, town has many events, concerts and other religious processions. From the terraces all along the all you can njoy bell view to the coast of Asinara Gulf. On a clear day it is also visible the southern part of Corsica island. Themost famous is called the Lunissanti and this even takes place during Easter holidays.

There is so much things to see and to do in Castelsardo, first of all one of the most famous monuments in the town is castello dei Doria or Castelsardo's castle, in the castle there is also a museum of basket-weaving which is a very important local handicraft.
